WHAT IS EEPTO?

Eanes PTO is a volunteer-powered, non-profit group of parents who love supporting our school!

We:

  • Raise funds for classroom needs and teacher appreciation
  • Plan fun, school-wide events
  • Help build and strengthen our amazing Mustang community

Every dollar raised by EEPTO goes right back into our school, providing essential resources for our students, teachers, and the entire Mustang family.

What EEPTO funds!

Eanes PTO aims to raise approximately $350 per student to provide exceptional educational experiences, support our teachers, enhance our campus, and strengthen our community. We invite every family to contribute at a level that feels right for them and to

help us reach our goal of 100% family participation. Below are examples of programs, resources, and events made possible by

EVENTS

Events are planned and funded by PTO donations as opportunities to build and strengthen our mustang community. We use fundraised dollars to create opportunities for families to get to know each other and for our kids to have fun!

Carnival: A fall event with games, booths, food and prizes. A cake walk, bingo, carnival games, rock climbing wall, gaming truck and trampolines are samples of what you might see at Carnival!

Evening at Eanes: A spring event held in spring. Families are invited to school to view student showcased art, music, and other works within their classroom and around campus.

Culture Fest: Formerly known as Heritage Day, a showcase of cultures from around the world.

Movie Night: Hosted in the fall, this is a fun family night where EEPTO brings a movie to the outdoor campus fields on the big screen!  We have a snack bar with drinks and food for purchase.  Families bring blankets and chairs and watch a great movie under the stars.

Mustang Mania: Similar to a Field Day, grades rotate through different physical challenges on the Eanes outdoor fields.

Mustang Mixer: A fun, friendraiser, parents-only, eating, drinking, and dancing party! Considered to be a Parents' Back to School event in which parents can meet up with their old friends, and make some new ones! 100% of the ticket price goes to the EEPTO.

Socials: A fundraiser in which a group of parent volunteers host a party or event for a group of students called a Social. For example: "3rd Grade Girls Movie Night" or "Dad's Beer and Bowling Night". The group pays for all party expenditures, and sets a ticket price to attend the party. Socials are then announced at Mustang Mixer and Carnival on sign-up sheets. Parents can sign up and pay to attend the party. 100% of the ticket price goes to the EEPTO.

S.T.E.A.M. Day: A special day of education and fun dedicated to STEAM which is the acronym for Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math

FAQ

What is the difference between EEPTO and EEF? We get this question a lot! We are two different organizations that both help bridge the gap to make Eanes excellent. (And we have very similar acronyms)

EEF, or Eanes Educational Foundation is a district wide foundation that helps to fund teachers. The largest portion of EEF’s grant each year funds teacher and staff positions. Generous donations from families throughout out district have funded over 474 teacher positions since 2004, including over 50 positions that are currently funded by EEF for the 2026-2027 school year.

EEPTO, or Eanes Elementary Parent Teacher Organization, (this is us) is a school level organization just at Eanes Elementary. Organizations like ours can also referred to as booster clubs or PTAs. While EEF helps fund teachers, we help teachers fund their lessons. We use donations to provide teachers with funds for classroom set up, supplies, instructional materials, and professional development. In addition, we use donated dollars to provide teacher appreciation, campus improvements, and community events. All money donated to EEPTO is used just for our campus.

Both our organizations help make Eanes ISD excellent, and we do it through the generous donations of families like you.
