What is Mustang Mixer?

Come ready to eat, drink, mingle, and Support Eanes Elementary!

 

 

Join us for a back to school party filled with good food, good drinks, good music - and good friends! Celebrating one more summer night, while we reunite with old friends and welcome new ones - all supporting EEPTO.

 

Mustang Mixer is Eanes Elementary PTO’s annual parent social, school kick-off, and fundraiser. Mustang Mixer 2023 will be a casual garden party set in the beautiful Umlauf Sculpture Garden. Each party will be greeted with a pre-filled picnic basket, and a personal picnic blanket, as well as fans to help cool, and bid on amazing auction items!

Proceeds from Mustang Mixer benefit EEPTO, allowing us to host community events, support classroom needs, professional development, teacher appreciation, and to strengthen our Mustang Community! Ticket holders gain access to bid on amazing silent auction items from local businesses, priceless teacher experiences, and first dibs on socials. 

 

 

Have you donated to the EEPTO Family Giving Campaign? Party ($2,500) and Legacy ($5,000) donors have two tickets included in their membership!

Mustang Socials & Silent Auction

Mustang Mixer attendees will get to bid on amazing items, experiences, and memberships. In addition, the auction will include priceless EE teacher experiences. The silent auction begins Thursday Sept. 14. Be on the lookout for an email and text from BetterUnite with a link to start bidding or purchase priceless experiences and services at “Buy Now” prices donated buy local businesses and community members. 

 

Did you join EEPTO at the Spirit Level or higher? You have exclusive early access to bid on our Silent Auction items and experiences at "Buy Now" prices.

 

Who doesn't love a party?! "Socials" are community gatherings outside of school, generously hosted by Eanes parents, that help support our PTO and grow our community. Mustang Mixer attendees get exclusive access to sign up for socials the day of the event and will open school-wide following the event. They do sell out, so don't delay in purchasing these priceless experiences for you and your child. A link to view Socials will be in the email from BetterUnite (you will need to click on this link as it is not a part of our silent auction and is available on another platform). Please note that if you are co-hosting a Social, you do not need to purchase a ticket for that Social.

 Event Details

Mustang Mixer is finally here and it’s going to be a night to remember (rain or shine)! Here are all the details you need to know: 

 

Pre-Registration & Tickets

A pre-registration email from BetterUnite wwill be sent out before the event. Please check your inbox and follow the link for access to your tickets and to enter your credit card information to bid on Silent Auction items, make donations. Please be sure to update “Guest Information” on your ticket(s) as this will serve as your event entry. No paper tickets required.

 

Silent Auction

The silent auction is now LIVE! Use your unique link in the emails and texts from BetterUnite. Start bidding or secure your item at “Buy Now” prices. 

 

Mustang Socials

Mustang Mixer attendees get exclusive access to sign up for Socials the day of the event and will open school-wide following the event. They do sell out, so don't delay in purchasing these priceless experiences for you and your child. A link to view Socials will be in the email from BetterUnite (you will need to click on this link as it is not a part of our silent auction and is available on another platform).

Please note that if you are co-hosting a Social, you do not need to purchase a ticket for that Social. 

Parking

We are encouraging ride-sharing to the event as there is very limited on-site parking. If you do park in the lots, please make sure to lock your doors and put any valuables out of sight.

 

Attire

Casual Garden Party. The ground may be soft in some areas so please plan shoes accordingly.  

 

Grade Level Pre-Parties

Thank you for purchasing a ticket to our Mustang Mixer Pre-Parties. We hope to give you an opportunity to meet other families from your grade thanks to our generous Pre-Party Hosts. Light bites and drinks will be served beginning at 5:30 pm. We recommend ride-sharing to the pre-party and then to the event as there is limited onsite parking. Tickets can be purchased at the door and addresses have been emailed to attendees.

 

Arrival

Each party will be greeted with a picnic basket curated with local delicacies (see menu below). Picnic blankets and hand-held fans will be available.
